Beginning: Fior di Loto

The predecessor of Giaogiao Downtown was the oldest Chinese restaurant in Florence, founded in 1961 as "Fior di Loto".

2020

Rebirth: Giaogiao

Sixty years later, in the same place a stone's throw from the Duomo, Giaogiao was born, a new Chinese cuisine brand that keeps traditional recipes with a nod to innovation.

2024

Expansion: Giaogiao Novoli

In November 2024 the Giaogiao team expands in Florence with a new location: new dishes, same passion.

Our first market

Selected Asian snacks, Chinese, Thai and Korean drinks: all in a specialized store near Viale Guidoni.
