We are looking for waiting staff in Florence and Empoli

GiaoGiao is a family-run Chinese kitchen with three restaurants: two in Florence, in the centre and in Novoli, and one in Empoli. We are looking for waiting staff for all three. Here guests order at the touch screen by the entrance: nobody takes orders at the table — you bring the food out, keep up with the kitchen and give a hand to those who need it.

What you will do

Bring dishes to the tables, following the orders that come in from the touch screen

Keep up with the kitchen, where dumplings, wok and bubble tea run on different timings

Clear and reset the tables between one guest and the next

Handle the counter for takeaway and online orders

Give a hand to those who need it: explaining a dish, helping with the screen, flagging an allergy to the kitchen

What we ask

Experience as waiting staff

Availability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays included: our restaurants are open every day (Novoli is closed on Mondays)

Good Italian; English is useful especially in the city centre, where we serve international guests every day, and Chinese is appreciated
